In the same week she faced a rematch against Lee and was unable to defend her title. Ariana was later matched with Lee in her Vickie Guerrero Divas Championship Invitational Championship, won by Lee. Summer Rae, Natalya Eva Marie Rosa Mendes joined the contest to play a six-on-1 handicap against Nikki Bella. The trio only turned up in order to take on Nikki Bella. In the Battleground show, Ariana was paired with Naomi. Ariana beat Naomi in the match. As a result, their rivalry began. Both wrestled singles and tag matches throughout the summer. Since then, she has faced other wrestlers, such as Paige Bella and her twin sisters Alicia Fox as well Asuka.
